We Are Encouraging Thousands of Collectors and Hundreds of Coin Dealers to give back this Holiday Season.
Just as the #GreatAmericanCoinHunt became one of the best programs to promote our hobby, #FreeCoinDay will capture the energy of our community and become a program that will help promote all aspects of our numismatic ecosystem.
#CoinWeek will be engaging with #RoundTable to help spearhead this program. We need to know who will be participating in #FreeCoinDay so that we can mention you in the press material.
#FreeCoinDay will consist of our participating dealers giving away a coin to every person who walks through the door up to 50 coins. (Giving away more if you like). Coins should be valued at at least one dollar and coin value must exceed face value by double or more. Saturday, December 18th.
#Coins4Christmas will consist of participating dealers and collectors placing coins in Salvation Army buckets, and also consist of giving them aways to random kids at grocery stores, malls and more. (Please have parents’ permission. December 13th-18th.
Not only is this a great way for us to give back after an extraordinary couple of years, we believe this is a “feel good” story that has the potential to be picked up by media organizations far and wide. CGE will be participating in all three parts but would like to know who else will be participating in #FreeCoinDay for the publicity and articles.
